Re: I Like The Latest Impeachment Developments!

I sometimes wonder what will happen, but I distrust progressives so much I can't believe them in much. I still view this as them being ticked that Trump beat Hil, not that they care a rip what he has or hasn't done.

Re: So...anyone dared to see Ken Burns' "Country Music"?

It is a superb work. Nothing low about it, except Johnny Cash's bass voice :) I am not a great cm fan, but the further back in the genre you go the more folkish it is. I grew up around that style and understand it, therefore I find it enjoyable. The closer it gets to country-western, the less I like...

I am not into mire playing. Vonnegut does not really express the topic well. As an American POW in WW2, a survivor of the Allied fireboming of Dresden, a trained chemist, and the author of one of the greatest imaginative works of the 20th century, Vonnegut told us via metaphor that gender may not b...

A Work of Art

The report of an AI project to complete LvB's symphony 10 reminds me of an interesting short story. "A Work of Art" by James Blish. Richard Strauss is 're-constituted' centuries after his demise and called upon to compose more music. The developments are interesting. Last I checked it was available ...
