I've always done that. I have over 20 recordings each of Bruckner's Symphony No.8, and Mahler's Symphony No.2. As well as several recordings of each of their symphonies. Aside from Mahler 4, which has to be by some impostor.

Not quite sure why they would keep recording Atlanta and not Cincinnati? I knowthe Cincinnati Symphony/Pops has sold a myriad more recordings than the Atlanta Symphony. Hopefully Cincinnati will find a recording contract soon. after they get rid of Paavo Jarvi preferably.

My other problem with Boulez is that he doesn't use a baton: my personal experience is that it's easier to read a conductor who knows how to use one properly. I'll second the Malcolm Arnold Quintet. Also, his Symphony For Brass. Both are extremely difficult to play, and a blast to listen to. Eric Ewazen's Symphony In Brass.Anything recorded by German Brass, or the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, and Summit Brass is going to be great fun to listen to.
