Thanks for posting it. This is one of those kinds of things that I take both seriously and 'with a grain of salt.' I'm assuming there's a lot to what she says, but also wary that it might be at least somewhat exaggerated. What I hope will happen is that it will get enough play that the other side(s)...

If you don't like his stuff, don't reply to it. The replying encourages it and increases it. If you reply less (or not at all) -- sure, It'll still go on, but it won't be as prominent.

Jean -- IMO it's not impossible.

I had a teacher/colleague/friend who believed that.

In any event, I do believe it's likely that there is intelligent life elsewhere. As for the rest of the theory, if I had to bet one way or the other, I'd bet no. But I wouldn't bet everything I had.
