I will be going to the October concerts with Salonen conducting (Sibelius, Debussy, Bartok, etc.). I am going to Pheonix for a conference, so I will be going to LA twice--once before the conference and once after, so I can attend two concerts! Yes!

I prefer the Gavrilov EMI recording by a country mile over the others I have heard, which include Gould, Hewitt, Schiff, etc. But I do like the three others I mentioned and have kept them for each have its own merit.
