I have a ton of Hindemith. He's a favorite composer of mine.

I listened to this work (the composer conducted/NY Phil) on Memorial Day (posted here at CMG under the "What Are You Listening to?" thread).

It's not my favorite Hindemth by a long shot. Dull in comparison to many other works.

I met Rochberg briefly in the early 70's. He was quite a gentleman.

I too have the Finlandia disc that contains Shadows & the 4th symphony (plus a nice cello concerto too).

The "Oehms" label picked up the Skrowaczewski Arte Nova Bruckner symphonies CDs which were/are pricier than the original Arte Nova.

Anybody know if the resurrected Arte Nova will get them back from Oehms?
