I've been hearing Little Death Orchestra's Tiny Crescent Sun being played on the Classic FM TV channel, and it sounds very familiar. Does anyone know if it's been used in any film/TV soundtracks, or adverts? It could just be that it's ne of those pieces of music that sounds familiar the first time you hear it!

No, I wish I did because I've been trying to find out if I can download it for ages (it looks like the only way to get it is to buy their entire album). The only place I've heard it is on the Classic FM TV channel, so I'm, hoping there's someone in here who already knows of it.

Well, miracles do happen . . .

An outfit named The Little Death Orchestra makes me think "unlikely!" but who knows? I listen to a group blithely named The Suspicious Cheese Lords who do Medieval and Renaissance a cappella music (that's a pic of one of them on their Senfl cd cover). Go figure. I couldn't find a listing for your group on Amazon.

After Sex Pistols, nothing would surprise me, but after Sex Pistols, why euphemize? Why not The Good Shag Orchestra? And where and what was the orchestra? The author of the track notes sounded like a one-man operation.
