I don't know... I don't like same-approach-for-all. Sure, OK, we need some kind of logo or whatever that easily distinguished one record label from the other, but same typeface for all CDs — no. And, by the way, I think it's becoming terribly overused (Gill Sans). It's a classic BBC font and I like it very, very much, but all this is beginning to ruin it for me.

Does your studio do posters/covers, stuff like that? I think I asked you once: you have a person who chooses the typeface if needed?

It was one of the first discs I recommended to him, I don't remember the others but they were much more mainstream, he keeps trying, maybe he likes it by now...

I have two recordings, this one and Boulez and the Swingle Singers on Erato, I prefer Eotvos...

A little tongue-in-cheek, in the impudence of my using so familiar a form. Conversationally in Russian, one politely addresses (or refers to) someone by the first name and patronymic (the middle name in Russian is always derived from the name of the father).

Well, you're missing the letter ch in the first word (which is also, BTW, the final letter in the name Shostakovich, Шостакович). And while you are correct in having identified the penultimate letter in each word as g, this is one of the (comparatively few) Russian orthographic anomalies. In the singular genitive case (for masculine or neuter nouns), the г in the inflected endings -его and -ого is actually pronounced v, not g.

(And there I may have confused you typographically, because г (Roman typeface) and г (Italic typeface) are the same letter . . . .)
