^^ does anyone know/ remember what the controversy was about her being invited by HvK to work with the Berliner, back in the late '80s? Didn't it lead to a walkout?

and of course... the DVDs I managed to sell on Sunday, to finance them. Unfortunately, I'm slowly running out of spare DVDs and am going to have to think of something else I can start selling...

Sorry for the confusion. I'm new to the board and wanted to clarify that these will probably make up the majority of the orders I make this month. Sometimes when I post a large haul like that at other boards I get a

response. I was hoping to pre-empt that.

Apparently I am getting my fill of Bach, because I decided to grab this while it was still available when I saw that only one copy was left on Amazon:

This is my third integral (along with Foccroulle and Walcha No. 2) so I think I'm set for quite a while.

Bought this out of sheer curiosity and am delighted I did. It's really an outstanding recording by a singer who, I think, has the potential to become a major presence on the vocal scene.

The chamber orchestra arrangements of the songs also worked wonders for me.
