REPUBLICATION OF MY BOOK.

Post by Agnes Selby » Thu Apr 05, 2012 8:29 pm

My research book, "Constanze Mozart's Beloved" will be re-published
in English by Hollitzer Wissenschaftsverlag in Vienna. Needless to say,
I am very happy about it.

Regards,
Agnes.

Thank you dear Lance for your kind words. They mean a lot to me.
Perhaps I may even get my children stories, "From Bach to Bartok"
published one day. Please keep your fingers crossed.

Kind regards,
Agnes.

Your three part memoir about how you and your family escaped the Holocaust and emigrated to Australia would make a fine small book, too.

Quadrant Magazine will allow me to use the stories for
personal use.

Dear Agnes:

It's good to come back online and see the good news. Your treatment of Constanze is as a friend and advocate - something her reputation could use.

Good luck with the interesting idea of a book for children "from Bach to Bartok" - an instriguing idea. And Rob reminds us that you have more to tell us.

That should keep you busy!

Regards, Werner

Thank you, Werner!

I do believe the childrens stories would make good reading as
they proved to be exciting to children at Castle Cove Public school.
They visited all these composers on a plane piloted by Mr. Flanagan,
the magic pilot, who took them back to into the composers' lives where
they created a lot of mischief and were responsible in part to what
happened to the composers. The Australian Broadcasting Corp.
was very good to us as we were allowed on occasion to attend
rehearsals. I often see my now adult "little people" at concerts.

Kind regards.
Agnes.
