Which recent, including living, composers can be described as having a natural feel for the grand, the majestic, and the powerful?

I'm sorry, but it sounds like the track music for a remake of North by Northwest. It is not the only Lindberg piece I have heard (I actually heard a live premiere of something or other at the NY Philharmonic), and I just don't get the point. However, not to pick on him or Martin unduly, I think the main problem is that Dulcinea's question is a case of barking up the wrong tree. Epic and awesome are not necessarily desirable or even possible features of successful newer music.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.
