Photoshop your face onto the one in the audience (Andriessen) they keep cutting to.

When Lenny was touring the Getty,
The garden resembled confetti.
So he turned to his Sue,
And his vows did renew,
With “I promise for aye Donizetti.”

Happy birthday, Len!

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Best wishes to you, Len.

By the way, I've opted to reject seeing Guilio Cesare, even in HD. I've seen this masterpiece a number of times as Handel conceived it and love the music dearly. Can't bring myself to see it battered and bruised by some hotshot modern director's great vision. :(

Tampering with original musical works is a no, no, no, with me.

Happy birthday, Len. I always enjoy your photos and appreciate your interest in, and knowledge of, nature.

Many happy returns & best wishes.

Wow thanks so much to everyone for such nice wishes! A really nice birthday present from Mother Nature would be if the 3to5 inches of snow predicted for our area for tommorow just passed us by! Len

Winter does get old at this time of the year but we've crossed the point of daylight exceeding dark and high temperatures are in the mid-forties. Good enough for me.

Maybe so, but around here (New York City), low temperatures overnight have continued to be below freezing. Not good enough for me!

LENNY! Another birthday. Keep 'em coming, and keep CMG alive with your always great comments.

May you buy yourself the largest of the mega-sets for this birthday (but be sure to advise what it is). I have a feeling you will go for the big original Sony STRAVINSKY box set that is now in a much smaller boxed edition. It's got ALL your favourites therein! Ho, ho, ho.
