We got to the cloisters today for the second half of the great tresures of the vatican show which I talked about previously when we saw it at the 5th ave Met-just superb-we hadn't been to the cloisters in a long time-why I can't say-it's magnificent! Anyway we had some time and headed for the high line but it was closed because of the mile long opera-we had time, went 2 blocks west to the hudson river and discovered the incredible progress that's been made at chelsea piers.
