As an American, this presidential campaign (particularly on the Republican side) strikes me as bizarre. How must it look to someone from another country? I've often wondered about that. This article from the Washington Post gives one answer to that question. I'd be interested in other reactions, either from CMG members or other "outside" observers of the American scene.

A very interesting article.
Looking at the campaign from Australia, it seems to me that it consists mainly of insults.
I ask myself, is it the person who uses the most foul language who will win the
presidency? I hope not!
