The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin (2018)
Just started it today. Chapter 1 is set in 1969 on Hester Street, Lower East Side, Manhattan in a Jewish community but I am told it does not remain there. Seems very accessible so far. The author isonly 30 years old.
