I'm listening to these two right now and am thoroughly delighted. :D (Sawallisch on EMI)

The problem is I flunked intermediate German and the recording comes with no libretto! An internet search turns up nothing. Certainly someone has taken the time to do a translation. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also check eBay for the original LPs-you may be able get both operas there cheap, and strip the librettos out of the LP boxes.

links to some of these are in the edited message above, including a standalone libretto for Die Kluge.

great operas

Has the revised version of Der Mond EVER been recorded?
