Berkshire record outlet has several of Jordi Savall's overpriced Alia Vox recordings at a mere 8 bucks a disc. Check out their most recent listings on their sight by hitting "search" , then "search" again.

They are only 'overpriced' because the Dollar is so low against the Euro, if you want to blame someone then blame George Bush it's his fault not Jordi's...

What a shame that we have to live with conditions supportive of exports, and thus manufacturing jobs, when there are so many needy record collectors.
"The law isn't justice. It's a very imperfect mechanism. If you press exactly the right buttons and are also lucky, justice may show up in the answer. A mechanism is all the law was ever intended to be." - Raymond Chandler

Post of the Day to ya, Haydn.

Harold, you have unplumbed depths! I had no idea you were an EM fan! I got the memo too, and plan to relieve them of some of those goodies. Also they have a ton of King Consort and Gothic Voices on Hyperion. I've noticed lately that they dump your basket after about 10 days, so if you are window shopping with the plan of buying later, be forewarned.

I see too BRO has on sale a must-have EM album: the Azema and Kammen disc of de Coinci songs, far and away one of Azema's best efforts. In fact, if you select EM and Pre-Baroque from the genres list, you might find some things you missed before.
