Anyone know what happened to 'em? They've disappeared before, presumably to update since they reappeared within days. This time, it's seemed like forever.

Lance, I have been clicking this link for some time and it will not connect, my friend. It must be dead.
I also used Google and could not get any more info on this site.
Hopefully one of our CMGers can help you out on this one.

Yes, they definitely disappeared several times before. And I think once it took a couple of weeks for them to come back. So don't give up yet!

The link won't open for me either. I think it's a dead link now. We'll see if it becomes resurrected again soon.

Is this the same site as
www.classicstoday.com?
They seem to have a monthly digest format. Once I get an ipad I'll spend more time on sites like that one.

No, Slofstra, Classical Digest is (was?) much like a
Rotten Tomatoes for classical music (I didn't choose the name, folks!); i.e., you select a composer and composition and they supply a list of prominent recordings with links to reviews and sites with audio samples. They have other features, too. It's quite a convenience, and I'd imagine a similarly extensive undertaking.

I've used this site almost daily for the past decade of my life. It's now been out for well over a month. I emailed their parent company (who's website also seems to be down) and never got a response. Maybe it's time to send a letter to Finland! I wish there was at least a message accompanying the site telling us what's wrong.
