For some, it is much easier to believe a lie than face the truth that an intelligent and
honorable man is the leader of our country. I also don't think they can face the truth
that they will all-too-soon be the minority.

Intersting. That's less than half of the percentage of Americans who think the Bush administration either was responsible for the 9/11 attacks or knew about it in advance but failed to stop it intentionally according to one poll from a reputable source that I saw some time back.

Interesting. That's less than half of the percentage of Americans who think the Bush administration either was responsible for the 9/11 attacks or knew about it in advance but failed to stop it intentionally according to one poll from a reputable source that I saw some time back.

It is perhaps consoling, or, alternately, more alarming, to understand that all these figures include the 7% of Americans who think Elvis is still alive.

I sometimes wonder why they don't do a control on this by polling the same group to see if they think George Washington is still alive. IOW how many of these respondents are stating beliefs they don't have just because they don't take the poll seriously.
